I already posted on the Technical Help forum, but since I don't mind any unofficial fixes I figured I might aswell post here aswell. Anyways, here's the original post:

I am unable to use the lightmeter in SC: Double Agent because I'm colourblind http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Yup, no kiddin'. I've enjoyed all other Splinter Cell games with the lightmeter (and sound in Chaos Theory) being fully possible for me to use, but now I'm pretty much unable to see any difference at all when the lightmeter (supposedly) changes.

Is there any way to fix this? Either change colours to something I can see, for example a scale from black to white or something like that? I'm not much into games coding, but I had this idea that it was maybe possible to recolour it myself by changing some .jpg-files or something in the lines of that.

Or maybe an unofficial change that gives back the lightmeter from the older games?

Really, any suggestions that change the lightmeter in some way, are welcome! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

So basically my question goes: do any of you know a way to fix what I'm asking for?

Thanks
- Jonathan

Well the only way you'd really be able to do this would be to replace the texture for the meeter.

This would be easy if the editor worked and they didn't bolk load all of the files.

If you really really really wanted it, you could try to find out the package and texture name, and replace it with your own gradient. But then it's impossible to tell what else that might break.

That sucks, well if you have an Xbox/PS2 you can play DA with the light meter however as you probably already know it's a completely diffrent game from the 360/PS3/PC version. But at least you can still have the same basic experience, but if you still want to play the PC version all I can recommend is to rely heavily on cover as stealth. Anyways are you completely color blind or can you not see certain shades of yellow/green/red?
