@rik336
Yeah, the rockets are part of the Commando class.

As small as the maps are probably going to be, I wouldn't doubt it if they did have destructible walls and structures.

When Battlefield started having that ability, the maps got really small, compared to how big they used to be.

As others above have pointed out there has been little information released on the game as yet so this isnt a question I can answer I'm afraid.

Hopefully we'll have more info in the near future though http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

@ All - Can I suggest we leave the English lessons off the board’s guys? if a post is unreadable I can understand commenting but otherwise we just open ourselves to scrutiny of our own posts and before you know it an entire threads discussion on spelling and grammar http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

lol, judging by this forum's other posts in other topics, if they did put in destructible environments, they'd say it was all a copy off of BFBC. Lots of people in this forum apparently hate this game. Beats me, they join and register, then insult the game and developers. Go figure.

If they put in destructible environments it would be a good thing because it's a copy of REALITY. The GR games have always been plagued with bulletproof bushes and picket fences.

Don't forget little twigs that can magically get your toe caught on them and not allow you to move until you back up and go around it, not to mention a 1ft tall wall that you just can seem to lift you leg to step over, or that half broken ladder that is touching your head, but you just can't seem to reach up and grab it, or those windows that you shoot and they make a breaking sound, yet magically are still there.

I am not trying to be mocking- no joke- what type of games do you play? Specifically give me some examples.

I'm pretty used to some degree of bullet penetration in shooters these days, R6V2 had it to some degree, and it's pretty much the norm now, I went back and had a go on my original GR earlier and I forgot how blocky and constricting the terrain was.

Destructible environments wouldn't really add anything to the game, I played the MP Demo of BC2 and the ability to blow up buildings and such just seemed a bit unnecessary. I would prefer it if the developers worked on something which would enhance gameplay rather than just doing it to look good.

The destruction in Bad Company 2 actually has a big impact on the gameplay.

How so, I only found it useful for bringing down a building with multiple enemies in, fun but not exactly a game maker.

Well for the rush gametype at least. It makes it really hard to find cover and defend a base. But if you destroy too much then you make it hard to get into a base and arm the bomb on offense. You can blow down some building with the objectives so that adds a little extra twist.
