I honestly don't remember my first post. Is there some way for me to be able to go back and look it up?

It was in Splinter Cell Conviction forum. About pre-order incentives for the Spas-12 suppressor shutgun etc.

Posted on Sat. January 9 2010 @ 19:17
Yes, today i went out to my local Gamestop store and pre-order Splinter Cell: Conviction Collector's Edition. Will this pre-order includes the Spas-12 suppressor shotgun, is this weapon more better than the first bonus weapon or whatever it was offered? Anyway, i hope this game is a welcoming gameplay like Assassin's Creed 2. Thanks for reading

(this is as far as it let me shifting through 22 pages.)

okay i'm officially embarrass now http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blush.gif oh goodness i'm such a noob/newbie. Still is, but i'm improving my forum posting though.

Yeah. I tried that. The ones that come up, however, aren't necessarily my first posts. I'm pretty sure I had some before that too. I registered in Febuary, but the earliest posts that are on record for me are from mid march.

My Post: "Considering Ezio would be dead by the mid 1500's, in order to advance to a new era, we would have to play as a descendant. They make a big deal in AC2 the idea that there is this whole "New World" that no one knows about. Columbus (Italian) discovering that New World for Portugal around 1492. Advance 100 years through the Spanish conquests to around 1600 and even as late as 1700, that whole period would be a prime era for AC3.

Something drove the Spaniards to the New World. (Gold/Riches/Power all synonymous with POE). And the other great powers followed quickly after. An excellent candidate for AC3 is therefore the Caribbean during the 1600's.

The Dutch, Spanish, French, and English were all fighting over the territorial riches of the many islands and the Gulf / South American Coasts. Our Assassin could easily be one of the many Mercenaries/Pirates operating independently in the waters at this time.

We have already seen the experimentation in AC2 with water and sailing vessels, as well as the "home base" that you grow and invest money in.

I see our Assassin being an independent Mercenary in the Caribbean. Having his own sailing vessel and crew that take him island hoping from port to port on his missions. (The vessel would be the upgradeable part of this scenario since the Trade that you engage in to generate income is the front for your secret operations against Imperial Governors and other forces.)

There is some historical evidence that the real world Templars may have operated in the Caribbean during this time, some say to hide their treasures from Jerusalem in the New World, far away from the prying eyes of European powers. But the actual historical facts are so sparse that you could invent any story for why they were really there.

The "Freedom" and "Democratic" practices that were borne out by the Pirates and Mercenaries of the Caribbean could easily lead to an AC4 that takes place another 150 years later in the American and French Revolutions against monarchies."

lol Oddly enough I was thinking about it the other day. My first post was back in 2009 and I'm pretty sure it was to come in here and tell Ubisoft how obsessed I was with the franchise but how I didn't appreciate the anti-Christian undertones in the games which I have since then gotten over because I don't necessarily think they are attacking religion and even if they were, they have every right imo to say what they want to.

My first....not that long ago lol.

"I thought the point of this thread was to point out how emotional and immersive AC is. How Does CoD or GTA, or even Battlefield fit into that category? So they sold more. Cool for them. They have little to no story at all and, while they may be fun and somewhat addicting, you get no emotional connection and no immersion. AC is as good as it is exactly b/c of those reasons. Plus, nobody does history better and makes you actually want to learn about it. And that I'm sure everybody can agree with."

Bravo GLHS! I love history, an immersive story, and a great game. AC has it all! And when I feel like blowin' crap up, I play one of those other games. But that feeling is sated with the game and I would never be on a forum discussing and speculating about any game other than one like AC. It's like a good book that you get to be in.

HOW TO FIX NOWHERE DOWNLOAD ISSUE!
Sun April 15 2007
"To get the same content as your friends bobbydazzler06 you need to: 1. Create a ubi account which you already have and 2. Go to the main menu on GRAW2 and you should see "Exclusive Map" on the bottom of the menu. Click that and you will be instructed to type in your Ubi.com account name and password. Do this and you will then be directed to the Xbox Live market place and you can then download Nowhere."

I think I win for the most boring post ever! lol

Name of post: Female Gamers - male characters (started by ProdiGurl)

My post:

I definitely love hot male lead characters and Ezio and Nathan Drake are at the top of my list, as is Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell. My only gripe is that sometimes their hotness can actually distract me from the gameplay but that's another story...

That being said, as a female gamer I don't really have a preference when it comes to playing as a female lead or a male lead although if given the choice (such as in Mass Effect or Dragon Age), I usually go for a female on my first playthrough. But it's really all about how the character is crafted and developped in relation to the story.

As for romance, yes, I do wish there was more of it in video games so long as it fits well into the story and is not overdone. In AC2, I thought it was done perfectly and it only made me love Ezio even more. He truly is a great character and I'm going to miss him very much once his saga is over...

By the way, if you like romance in your AC you really should play AC2 asap once you're done with Brotherhood. Ezio is totally irresistible in it, especially when he was younger. So cute!

Wow....their hotness distracts you from gameplay. Think you're lookin at them a little bit too much lol.
