Hello

Im new to Sub sims but I really like SH4 and have about figured it all out. The last sub sim I played was DasBoot http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Any how I wanted to know If I can use custom difficulty settings in the career mode. The hard setting is almost what I want but it sill has auto stabilized mode for the deck gun and such and Very hard setting is probably more than I want. Cant I just play career mode with custom difficulty? SO i can get about 80% realism?

Thanks

Gun

I think you can, but only before starting a career. You can change them in the main screen, and go to game settings. Those will be your default game settings than.

Yes, you can custom set the difficulty level. When you start a new career, (in the office) on the left side of the screen on the shelf is what looks like an old radio, these are the settings, set what you want, start your career and "viola" there you are.

...and anytime between patrols you can go back and change settings, so you can do a patrol or two with a few easy bits on, then make it harder as you get more experienced without having to start a new career.
