You're definitely not the only survivor, it's just "The Event" has put us into a bit of a dry spell......

"Dry spell", no kidding, the search for games to hydrate my mind is exhausting.

Day 2:
Made contact with another survivor. Was informed that supplies are scarce.
Found evidence of other human activity around the antenna. We are not alone.

I fear not even Water can help with dehydration at this point. We've been out here without only the simplest of supplies for far too long, hopefully we'll get some sort of air drop of Food, Water and medical supplies soon, if not, then i worry that any attempt to search for Anything that can help will prove to be futile.

Day 3
The Watchers have got me freaked, I know they're there, I can feel their eyes. What is their motive? Are they sizing me up for an attack, curious about MY intent? Where in God's name are FEMA already, are they even coming or did the entire planet get hit by this disaster?
I'm going to take the other survivor's advice, find a hide, maintain a low profile, see where this thing is heading.

Came in contact with another group of survivors, most of them either sick or injured, the ones that were healthy enough to help were to scared to do anything of use.
traded them some medical supplies for a bit food and a few drinks of water, it'll do them more good than it will me.

We lost society, but not our humanity, remember this.

What I saw last evening makes me think these words are not true for all survivors. Maybe the words serve to remind us, not to decend into the madness.

I've counted between 15 and 25 survivors to this point. It's hard to tell if I counted some of them twice, I only catch glimpses of them, searching through rubble, clinging to shadows.

I've tried to stray away from getting into any confrontations to protect myslef from any unneeded attention, but today.....
what i saw them doing to that girl..... i had to act..... WE have to act, help in any way we can, i never want to see the things i've seen ever again.... but only time will tell.....

Day ?
The antenna is finally back up. I don't know how long it's been now, I'm hungry...and dirty, god I must smell something awful. I've been hiding in the dark for what seems like ages, the Sunlight hurts my eyes now.
I've seen the other survivor wandering around in the open, less cautious, and he's with a female...surely he has lost his reason, making such an overt target of himself..and her. It's making me nervous.

Fortunately for us we parted ways, Shortly after that there was a raiding gang that came and shot everyone up, it was a bloody mess, i heard they got their ammo from an old abandoned military base to the north of Haventon, I'm making plans to take my supplies and head up north. I'm not sure how reliable this information is, but if there's even a slim chance that i can acquire some extra medical supplies and food for the refugee camp I'm currently Taking shelter in, then it's a risk I'm willing to take. even if the supplies save only one life, I'll consider it a job well done.

Earth passed the event horizon of a massive black hole.

^Actually, the Earth passed BY the event horizon of a black hole, at which time, the rocket that we had The Tetrakyts chained to was launched on a one way course into it...never to return...ever.

..then the party started.

Day 8
Had a really weird dream last night, tired of the anxiety, this is no way to live. I've found an iron pipe, it feels good in my hand, I'm going to look for more equipment and a better place, enough of the dark, the Sun still looks the same, it still shines every day.
It's time to take it back.

Just returned from the Military base, it had already been been scavenged by the raiding gangs, but i was able to find some much needed antibiotics and some canned food.
Got into a bit of a scrap with Three gang members on the journey home, it would have been the end for me if a man carrying a little girl and a video camera didn't show up and give me some assistance, i told him about the military base, He said he had been there already then he asked me about a woman who I'm assuming is his wife, unfortunately i couldn't help him. I just hope the gang didn't follow me back. Me and some of the others here in the refugee camp have decided to pick up and head out in search for a safer place, as soon as we find a better more secure place to stay that isn't out in the open we'll return and pack up all the supplies we need to move into a new more permanent place to Stay.

Survivors Log Final Entry

I intercepted a transmission from other survivors, they must have recovered a working long range radio. They contacted an outpost, a survivor settlement called New Sienna I think. A boat was sent for them to the Pier in Haventon. That's where I'm headed.
Everyone here in this settlement outside of town are dust now, but giving up and joining then sounds too much like quit....I've always had a problem with that.

My gear is sound, got my iron pipe and I found a spear gun in the remains of a divers truck. It's good for hunting, stops the critter getting away when the shot isn't that good. It's come in real handy for climbing too. Got a small tent, a solar cell for my flashlight and radio (finding the Sun is the challenge) and my small 20 guage pump action from the house...the cleaners haven't shown up for weeks, the place is a real mess, ha ha.
Anyway, I've also got a couple of spray cans, I'll leave some directions for any who come after. Haventon's at least a few days on foot. Bit nervous about abandoning the better hunting grounds and going back to that desolate graveyard of a city.

I sent my group the the pier where the boat was said to be docking. I couldn't make it. i needed to stay back at camp and help those of us that were too weak to travel, i just have to pray that the ones that were sent ahead could make it there in time.
I hope you have more luck Surviving and escaping to somewhere that is hopefully more guarded and more safe.
