As much as I would like to say Villa, after todays Man Utd v Chelsea game I think its going to be the former.

Good on them as well, I hate...HATE Chelsea almost as much as..I cant say it....ughhh....Arsenal...blarghhhh. Mwhahah 3 - 0 stuffing.

Im an opportunistic United supporter especially now that Beckhams gone...freaking gimp...you Americans seem to love him btw...what the hells wrong with you? Ahhh well he's your problem now http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif, as long as Liverpool (boring team boring club made even more annoying by scousers), Chelsea (tossers), or Arsenal (even bigger tossers...I'll support a German team before I ever support Arsenal) don't win Im happy.

So, thoughts on whos going to win?

I couldn't agree more, Chelsea sucks, big time. The only thing I don't agree with is that we Americans like Beckham. We don't, sure L.A. loved him, he fit right in there, the rest of us couldn't care less. After I watched ManU beat Chelsea this morning, after they catch up in games they will be winning it, again.

P.S. Beckham is no longer in the U.S. He is back on that side of the pond. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

United are going to win it. Liverpool looked to be in with a shout but Benitez has gone into 'wibble wibble' mode. Chelsea have been looking dodgy all season and Arsenal are no where near.

As for Becks, I think he's still a great player despite all the baggage that comes with him. McLaren dropped him and lost his job in the process. I think he'll do well at Milan.

Man Utd still have 5 points to gain on Liverpool but I'd put my money on Man Utd anyway.

Liverpool put themselves into a great position and it helped that Chelsea started stinking, but now they definitely can't seem to regain the momentum you'd need to win the prem.

Man U started out crap but they have the players and the experience to cruise to victory in the prem.

Chelsea could have run away with it but I think Scolari is just not the man for the job, even Avram Grant was better. They've started slowly imploding it seems.

Arsenal is just garbage this season, I've become so bored watching them lately. Good for Villa for overtaking them.

Overall a pretty good season, very tight. WTF @ the big 4 all drawing in two different weekends.

I am American and live in the US and have been watching the EPL for the last few years, I don't really support a team and just like to watch good football and good players. I really don't like Chelsea though, they remind me of the NY Yankees, they throw their money around and the players and fans have a bad attitude where they expect to win everything.

As GBrutus noted, Benitez appears to have been out-psyched by Fergie. United have such a reserve of talent at the moment I can't see them slipping up. I must declare some bias. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

As for Chelsea, I'm thoroughly enjoying their instability and hope it continues to the point of no siverware or even no qualification for the Champion's League (note: Champion's League - not runners-up, or third or fourth place league - a favourite bugbear of mine). Drogba wouldn't have got into a local sunday league pub team with his performance at Old Trafford. By no means over yet, though. Can't see the Arse getting back into it, but it is, as they say, a funny old game. Maybe some clubs are going to be affected by banks calling in loans, sell-offs and general financial panic if the current economic climate continues, still, if you sleep with dogs...

So, to sum up - United FTW. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

LOL! Handegg! Seriously though, who owns Manchester United? They were being passed by Arsenal and Chelsea then they were bought out and seem to have taken off after they were purchased a few years ago?

You can't expect a team to stay at the top all the time, money has never been an issue for UTD either. In fact the club did poorly to start with when American directors were installed and started meddling. Glazers an idiot who could ruin that club financially.

Problem with our football is that its become the new horse racing for the uber rich, buy a club pump money into it and have a bigger **** than the other rich guy whos just bought a club. No love for the sport, just Saudis, Russians and Americans who want new toys.

Sadly the Mancs are on for another double http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif,I was sure I saw the horsemen fly past my house last May when they did it,really dont want a repeat this season... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif,but they are playing like real champions recently and grinding out results...so are favourites for sure.

^^^(reverse psychology)^^^^

The Glazers...they bought United to make money, not to plough it in. They borrowed hundreds of millions of dollars to buy Utd and then made United responsible for paying back that debt. They are not some Russian Oligarch or Arabian Oil shiek wanting to play fantasy football by throwing stupid sums of money at it. The (addmitedly competitve ) money that United pay for players and wages comes from the pockets of it's fans (and as many people overseas as they can fleece for merchandise).

However, at least the Glazers have at least had the sense to not interfere deeply with the running of the club (on the sports side of things), and have not reined back on the transfer kitty in order to pay the (worringly large) interest bills - so maybe the fact that they were already sports club owners indicates they might know a bit more about it than some of the other 'foreign' owners of English football clubs.

As to who's going to win it - don't know, long way to go yet.

who's going to win
Manchester UTD... as much as I like Chelsea more, Arsenal too they have more cohesive team and TBH look better on pitch.
Just to understand each other, several teams in Premiership have extra teams but UTD somehow comes on top in this moment. IMO.
Liverpool started good, but I don't think they will make an score (regarding title) this season.
