Can't equip the Borgia cape!!

I have just worked hard to find all the borgia flags in Assassin's creed Brotherhood however I have got Altairs armour equiped, when I try to equip the Borgia cape, it doesn't change. I have tried everything even when I remove the armour to get the plane cape, when I try to equip the Borgia cape, it doesn't equip on Ezio. This has really annoyed me. Does any one know how to fix this? If so I would much appreciate you commenting.

I THINK YOU HAVE TO GO TO YOUR INVENTORY GO OVER ALTAIRS ARMOR AND IT MIGHT SAY UNEQUIP THEN DO THAT AND GO OVER YOUR CAPE AND EQUIP THAT.....I THINK THATS HOW IM NOT 100% SURE
