What are you talking about???
min will be not higher than 2.4Ghz and 512MB of RAM.

And what is open GL 9.0???
There is only open GL 1.2 and they are working on v2.0 so PLEASE DONT GIVE US THE WRONG INFO!

I agree. There is no way they would limit the PC to 3.2, if they did they would hurt their sales. avg. is PIII 800 upto 2.0G. I have seen for most games. When I posted my request for info. It was ment for the "DEVELOPERS" it is apparent you are not.

You just make your self less valuable when you have things to say.

Well, that's not so bad since you have x-box for playing games (and you never have to worried about requirements).

We haven't released the official hardware specs yet.

But, I can tell you that my second machine (which isn't as fast as my main dev box) used for testing multiplayer code is an Athlon 2200+ (1.79Ghz) 512MB with a 5700 Ultra and it runs the game quite well.

hey i'm going to buy a new computer..
do i have to buy a new videocard for this game with the new computer?

Wait until the new Intel chipset comes out in the 2nd quarter of 2005 (April 2005) so that you get the new version of PCIExpress. It will blow away any AGP or anything out there...that is if you are looking to but Intel.

Had me scared for a moment... I've got an AMD 64 Bit based system with 1Gig of RAM and "only" the Radeon 9800 Pro with 128M on board... When I saw that 256M minimum video card and 3.2GHz processor I knew it had to be a joke.
My system runs Doom 3 pretty well and COD amazingly well so I can't wait to see BIA in action.

hey thanatosser,
what brand of ram are you using because I have that same motherboard and I am having a **** load of problems.
And I will be safe with this game, XP (Barton Core) 3200, 512 ddr 400 nvidia fx 5700, 80 gigs upgrading to 200 gigs so just make this game to my comps specks :P.
I never liked the ps2, xbox and what ever other consol there is for gameplay, for me it just rewend it.

Its almost never true about the Minimum Specs..
I tend not to trust them because almost every game that had minimum specs released, I heared people that had problems.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

NVIDIA Geforce4 MX 440 with AGPX
512mb ram
would be enough?

Tejo.hr
11-03-2004, 01:16 PM
what processor do you have?

512MB ram will be enough but you graphic card is too old for this game. I dont even think that BIA will support it. Non of todays FPS do.

11-20-2004, 06:42 PM
mmm i might sound like a plonker but ive read all the posts and i still dont get what the requirements are?
is an
AMD Athlon xp 2800
1Ghz DDR ram
120 Gb Hdd
PNY GeForce FX 5600 256Mb Video card

Is that System good enough to play the game on high quality?

PresidentSkroob
11-20-2004, 06:48 PM
it will be the same specs as farry i thnk, cuz far cry had good graphics, physics, ai, and alot of other advanced things, brothers in arms isnt as detialed, has only ragdoll physics, but the ai is better so more is needed resualt is just bout the same or a little higher than far crys specs

TennesseeTitans
11-20-2004, 07:38 PM
The specs are going to be much lower than Farcry. I think if you can run HL2, you can run BIA. Devs already said that the specs won't be too high.

PresidentSkroob
11-20-2004, 10:21 PM
its to bad the game wont have real time dynamic shadowing and lights, but oh well, thats why we have dod source, acually to think of it, we havent seen any pc screens or videos, so i cant say for shure that there wont be good shadowing instead of blobs ont he ground.

TennesseeTitans
11-21-2004, 06:19 AM
Well, we they aren't done. There are months to go and they can add alot in that time. This game appears to have rather dynamic lighting(see link). I don't think they have implemented any shadows on the character yet.
