Some questions.
- I use a Athalon 2700, 1 G ram DDR, Ausa GForce4 128
- card.
- When i play {not complicated missions} I lock up
- about 5 seconds and then when I get back the game is
- ahead about 5 seconds and i get shot or crash due to
- that lag. Any way around this? I figured I had
- plenty of guts for the game.
-
- When i crash in "Single missions"{I never used
- campaigns yet} the plane bounces?? then skips for
- long time and rarley just crashes?
-
- Any way to "refly" without backing out of the game?
-
-
- Any detailed instructions on how to add downloaded
- missions to the game? { planes }Also how to add my
- own created missions to "single missions"?? I looked
- at windows explorer files /folders for the game but
- I am not sure.
-
- Thanks a ton I am new to this.I need "detailed
- instuctions on answers...please do not assume I
- know much.

have you tried this thread for your lag
http://forums.ubi.com/messages/message_view-topic.asp?name=us_il2sturmovik_ts&id=zwxle
when the plane bounces it means that you have vulneability (I think i spelled wrong) off, so when you brief a mission go to difficulty and turn it on
the bad thing about il2 is that when you want to refly it needs to load things again
to add missions, you need to go
C:/programs files/ubisoft/Il2fb/missions/single and then paste the missions in one of the folders

The 5 seconds pauses you get are those only in IL 2 FB? That is a typically sign of a GPU overheating, so if you are overclocking your GPU (not mem) you can try lowering it.

The pause or lock is ONLY in IL2FB and I never over clock. This is a 3 month old system custom built.
