Hello
Do you agree the forging proccess was one of the most nice part of the game?
Does anyone knows another game or simulator with forging?

to be honest with you, the forging process is pretty dull, and there's only one type of weapon one can craft with the forge. And only what ... 2 type of metals that can be found during the game altogether?
the steps are rather boring and repetitive... it would be cooler if there was some timing factor involved during the smelting or hammering that would determine the sword's strength.

I undestand, but is the first time I see some game with forge. I agree it could be better, that's why I'm asking about other games or simulator
Cheers

agree. The forging is pretty cool and funny too. But only 2 swords you can create :/
Hope that if Ubi/Arkane decide to work on a sequel to DM, they will make more out of this option http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

There's just no pleasing some people - when you compare this crafting with that of other game which have an element of RPG in it, then this is light years ahead. It's accurate and much better than just mixing a couple of items and a weapon magically appears.
I don't know of any other game that has this style of forging in it. My only disappointment was that it wasn't used enough - maybe two or three times in the whole game. It would also be nice to have more variety or control of what weapons can be made. Maybe this is just a foundation on which to improve in future games.
