Hi all,
SPECS:
Intel E8600
ASUS P5K
3GB DDRII
Samsung SpinPoint 750GB
EVGA 8800GTS 320mb
E-MU 0404 PCI Sound Card
Windows XP SP3
I Installed FC2, everything works fine except I don't have audio! Not in the game, not in the menu, not during the intro,.. Audio is enable in Options menu. My audio in Windows is working fine. I uninstalled my audio drivers and updated them but still no audio http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Open a music file, press pause. Then start FC2. I use media player classic so no system hog.

ok......this fix worked for me until this evening...! If I choose to keep the music track playing it cuts out when FC2 starts. Anybody else got any suggestions?

Go Control Panel - Settings - SOund & Audio Devices - Audio Tab - Advanced tab under Sound Playback. Then go to performance and drag the Hardware Acceleration slider all the way to the left. Worked for me.

hello while turning the hardware acceleration off did seem to work a bit the weapon sounds are slightly lagged behind when you shoot them ..so its not a perfect fix at all...also i received an e-mail response from e-mu ..heres what they said... "E-MU PCI audio interfaces have no ability to pass through or decode DTS and Dolby encoded signals. We have very limited support for problems using your E-MU product in non professional audio software." ...so that sucks ..and i see that this game uses dolby so we as owners of the emu souncards are screwed i guess...thats lame man there should be a way to fix this...

With the lag thing, when you shoot a gun, the bullet doesnt come out right away, so from when you fire the trigger, there is a time period that is just silence, not lag. And btw this happens in FC2.
