as said i'm playing the hell out of this game and can feel myself improving, but its got some issues that i hope can be patched up (i'm on xbox)
display calibration. when tweeking the display lag it would be nice to have more to work with than just a slider. adjusting the slider, backing out to the menu, loading a song, testing, then if its not right, backing out of the song going back to main menu, back to options back to the video delay thing. thats a pain in the ***, put something in the delay screen with a "press a button when you see blah blah blah" just some kind of visual representation of what you are adjusting.
the replays after you finish a song seem to have a lot of delay in them, i can play a song, and do great on it, but on the replay theres like nearly a full second of lag between the song and what i played. it makes it sound terrrrible. i suggest either fixing this, or removing that feature (unless i'm the only one noticing this.)
ui weirdness. i've noticed that sometimes it wants you to press start to continue, sometimes it wants you to press a, and sometimes it wants you to strum your strings and make noise. it seems random where they put these. in most mini games to start it you make noise, but in scalerunner, you press a button, theres other instances like that.
stop pushing me to the career path! if i'm in song library, and pick a song and play it, when i finish the song i should go back to the song library , not to the career path screen,
when finishing a song there should be an option to play it again without going back to the menu and retuning and reloading. loading takes so long
and my number one complaint WHY OH WHY do you limit the amount of plays in riff repeater,
nothing ****es me off more than trying to practice a hard riff and every 5 plays thru having to go back out and reload back into it and retune. just let us practice. maybe make a quick tuner so anytime you can pause and tune if you feel you have gotten off.
i know this sounds like a lot of negative. but things that i think would make an awesome game even more awesome.
