how can you make the terrain float like a floating island because ive seen it in videos and ive played a map with floating terrain but i have no idea how to do it. if you are wondering what im talking about go on the map community and type "sky castle" plz reply i really want to no how to do it

The map you are talking about and others like it are using the rock formation brushes.
The ones used for making cliffs and such.

I recommend opening he map up in the editor and just start disassembling it. You will see how he put it together.

Just don't save any of the changes.
