Need Help W/ Legend

I need real help in finding out any info on how to get this blasted achievement. I've already looked in the FAQs and it is no help. So I'm sorry to the mods, but I NEED something a little more than what's posted there.

I need to know if I have to go through begning to end with default equipment, or can I go mission by mission, at random, with my own loadout.

You can use any equiptment you'd like. It doesn't matter.

but do you have to do them in order?

I doubt it, but remember to get a pen and paper and actually write down the ones you've done. The number of times that would've helped me with the Terrorist Hunts is ridiculous...
