Screenshots... what's the deal?

Basicially, I'm wanting to find out under what copyright Ubisoft class screens of their games. I've heard in the past that, so long as all proper attributions are made, Ubisoft allow unedited screens from their games to be posted online; that said, I am not entirely sure if this is true. Of course, the screens would only be posted online for the purpose of describing that which is being shown (i.e. a picture of Ezio will be used to describe Ezio, and not someone else).

If anybody could help by providing an answer, it would be greatly appreciated.

If a company has provided the means to take screenshots, or not expressly physically prohibited the ability to take screenshots, they have no legal standing to prevent you taking them and doing what you like with them.

Do what you like with them.
