I was wondering if any of you salty old vets knew the best way to set up voice comms on the game. YES, I have read the manual. All of my setup is good, and I have tested within the sound menu. I have not yet had the opportunity to do it online. I assume that since nobody does it, it doesnt work well. Is there a place that uses voice comms more frequently? I am tired of typing and fighting at the same time.
Thanks for your time

I fly with a couple of other guys regularly. The in-game voice comms didn't work for us.
Most folks use one of four freeware programs:
Teamspeak
Ventrilo
Battlecomm
RogerWilco

We use Teamspeak which works great. Go to www.teamspeak.org (http://www.teamspeak.org) for the download.

TeamSpeak user here! We have a dedicated server for our voice coms (lucky us!), but TS does have three public servers that can be set up and used for free. They can be passworded or not.

You'll have to make sure all whom you wish to talk to know 1. Which server you're on 2. The name of your channel 3.any password you have activated. That's it.

You don't even need the "TS2 server" software to host a channel on their public server. Just have everyone DL the "TS2 client" and you'll be fine.

After eating an entire bull, a mountain
