....and the minigames ruin the experience for me to be honest, its all fast paced then out of no where you aiming for a freakin fire ball jutsu like its some 8 year old game = LAME

I don't see why anyone has a problem with the "mini-games," if they can really even be called that. The way I look at it is this; why should you be able to inflict major damage with a "special move" just by hitting a button and not having to work for it? These "mini-games" make it so that once you activate your jutsu, you need to work for it (i.e. aim, overpower, charge, or time it just right) in order to fully and properly execute the move. It makes sense when compared to the source material. No moves more powerful than standard fighting techniques should be a given. I think it'll be a nice change of pace during the fights, as well as giving you a sense of satisfaction when you nail your special move just right. Just my two cents.

no man it doesn't slow the game pace it just adds more depth to it. With specials like said by ASthmaticZero they need skill tp pull off. It makes it so that if you play the game alot you will become better and better at them and soon be able to pull off these intense moves. Insted of clikin a button and watchin the same thing every time.

no...skill is something like the mini games in Budokai 3. That, i wouldnt mind things like that int his game. But freakin moving the analog stick and trying to bite your opponent with snakes? Thats just corny. I see if like, naruto was about to do a rasengan and while he was gathering chakra you had to push x like 3 times at the peak of a lil meter at the bottom. Thats skill, entering random commands quick, thats skill, but no, this, this is just slow and corny

see, if it were cut scenes like that where characters where actually doing something that looked cool and you were tapping the mess out of a button faster than your opponent or timing it right, i wouldnt mind. But seriously:

Sasuke's fireball jutsu. You aim with analog sticks, hes in the air for like 30 seconds shooting fireballs while the opponent looks stupid going left to right trying to dodge

some may not be as good as others but some are really cool. Like naruto's jutsu like when you gotta click the button in the right order before the other person does. thats not bad. And kakashi's is okay pushin the A button faster then the other person.

i mean, if the action in the back had more, well action and movement like the above videos, i wouldnt mind what the hell the mini game would ask.

But speaking of Ultimate Ninja 2...i need to go pick that up already, probably go tomorrow. But Toys R Us got that thing today so i might go today and get something free

No, Narutimate Hero's ougis were terrible. They looked nothing like they did in the show. Especially Neji's Rokujuu Yonshou.

In this, they all look like they're supposed to, and the little mini games are actually fun. And those mini games aren't the cutscenes. If you win them, you get a cool cutscene afterwards, if you lose, it will show the enemy blocking or evading. It is much better than Narutimate Hero.

Plus, Narutimate Hero had a terrible combat system.

the mini games r fast paced blazer they only last 10s at the most they keep the pace up without just having like random button presses

the mini games are cool it adds excitement to the game because of the fact your trying to block it and pressing A rapidly ect.,I dont like the fact that some characters have more jutsus then others but i guess it because the ones that have les jutsus are because there combos are longer and give more damage as we see with Lee

blazerflame ur crazy i dont get why u wouldnt like the mini-games i mean did u see how cool kakashi's chidori was u'd rather have just like lighting come out and he hits him rather than a cutscene lemme give you one word BORING w/o the mini-games the game would be so stupid i dont get how you could not think the mini-games were necessary i know once you play this game youre gunna like the mini-games and then all of us here can say TOLD YA SO!

although i do agree with you on one part orochimaru's snake jutsu is kinda stupid but the others are sweet as hell

no, if you would actually read and comprehend my post you'd realize i said the mini games where you have to rotate and im fireballs and **** are stupid. I never said i didnt want a cutscence. Come on, you all are too much of Naruto fanboy's to open your eyes. Its freakin CORNY. You do a fireball justsu which isnt a BIG movie just a attack which should take no longer than 10 seconds. No need to aim and try to hit them like a first person shooter. Now if it were ultimate moves then you can do those crappy mini games.

It makes the game better because you are actually working for the damage, in other Naruto game you pull off an easy jutsu and watch a regular cutscene and thats it. In this you are actually controlling the character during the cutscene and it is more satosfactory to damage the other person when your done. I think ubi was right on with this method.

thats what you all think, i think its stupid. They couldve just did the "regular" moves without a cut scene like fireball jutsu, then for the ultimates like Chidori, do a mini game like enter commands quick and mash buttons and all that

hmm after seeing that wow ubis jutsu mini games are as Amazing as they looked before.....but i not gonna say there amazing or terrible before i have played the game and tested them myslef.

i usualy rent before buying but i think that imma buy this game or atleast rent from gamefly and buy it from them
