Two installs - can't patch second..

I have two installs of SH 4 now, one for Trigger Maru, and the other for a few friends of mine who don't want to MP with that mod (though I don't even know if it's POSSIBLE)

Anyway, patcher seem's to only recognize the first install and not the second, is there a way to fix this?

At the very least you should be able to create a small new partition on your hard drive and install one of your versions to the new drive, and all the upgrades & mods there as well. Then they shouldn't even see the other install. Making a new partition in XP is easy, just look in the help menu for how to do it. Can't speak for Vista.

The way to do it is to firstly install the game and patch it.

THEN make a copy of that folder into a new folder..rename it and you have two version..both patched to 1.4

You can o on an on and also use Multi SH4 to have 'saved games files' for each version.
