FarCry will not run (CD emulation error)

I get the following error message when I try to run FarCry: "cd/dvd emulation software has been detected. Please disable all cd/dvd emulation software and re-start game" I uninstalled Daemon tools, but I still get this error msg. I even installed Patch v1.3 It didn't help. I have an Win XP with an Atlon +2600, 512 mb ram, ati aiw 9600 (12b mb). Any ideas?

i think it thinks its detected some illegal hardware.......dunno,you aint got emulated games on your pc.eg "goldeneye" etc,etc

Negative. I have no emulation games and my hardwae is all legal.

I got exactly the same problem.

Installed the game, disabled deamon en still the game errors.

I Have no idea what is wrong here, even this stupid check is riduculios. Why can't I have cd emulation software installed?!?!

But what is wrong here.....
All other games run fine, just this one not.

guys daemon tools does not affect far cry, i have it enabld and can play FC fine. i did have the same problem when i had clone cd installed. so if n e of u guys have clone cd instaled, ur gonna have to get rid of it to beable to play far cry
