No no no I have a cheaper option, I have a well specced laptop that just might get you through the tough night ahead....for a price of course plus none of the mess thats left behind when hitmen are involved.
Seriously though I feel your pain. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Ehem... your wife WANTS to go to a romantic hotel and you protest? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Married women usually are reluctant to this kind of activity! Enjoy as long as she wants to, because in no time she'll ban all this activity!

Just look at this way:
treat her to a fantastic romantic evening out, then shag her silly during the night, and you'll be able to play SH III the whole following month deep into the night without complaints

I feel your pain, man. No, really. I'm going to be in Cancun acting like a drunken sailor with a couple of bikini-clad babes on each arm on the SH3 release date. And I'm actually a bit disappointed.

What is "walla"?
Or did you mean "voila", which is French for "See there!", or "There it is!"

Ok really now, is it that bad? I mean, we're telling a guy who is about to get laid not to do so. Besides, it's his wife, not a paper-bagger. So go out, get yourself laid multiple times, and then you can spend the entire next day playing SH3 and icing your balls. Capeesh?

You bastard. You would rather spend a night with your computer than in a hotel with your wife? Some of us just with they had a girl here. Perhaps when you were a child sometime you didn't want to finish your meal and your mother would have said "There are children starving in (insert 3rd world country here) that would love to have that"... or something like that.
Well that doesn't just apply to starving kids. There is the womanly deprived type too.
Anyway to help you out. Is she half decent looking? I could take her off your hands for the night. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
LOL, just kidding.

If I may inject my advise here.
Suck it up and treat your wife to the best time of her life. Treat her like gold. Pamper her every need. Never let her out of your site. Keep her enthralled with your views and witty comments.
That way, when the weekend is over she'll be so sick of you, that you can safely spend the next few months playing SH3 undisturbed. She'll sneak by you trying desperatly not to let you know she's there.
Trust me I've done this in the past and it's well worth the extra effort.

Strange that wives & girlfriends simply cannot share our interest in getting into sweaty underwater coffins & torpedoing enemy shipping, isn't it? Anyway, don't worry too much about the coincidence, 'Bellum longum, amor brevis'* as the poet says [*'War last for years, lovemaking just a few minutes'].
Also, you can be sure as Computers is Computers that there'll be lots of initial probs & teething troubles, so Frau Bockholt & I suggest you enjoy your romantic evening & also enjoy looking forward to SH3 just that little while longer... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Aye carumba, Thats it, ask a few leading questions like do you like the sea, do you like boats, do you get seasick etc and nice romantic things like that.
By this time she's guessing there's boats involved but no way on earth will she guess what it is.
Explain to the missus that your going to take her out on a nice romantic cruise.
buy yourself another PC and set it up for CO-OP mode, with any luck you'l get some fireworks thrown in aswell and garanteed peace n quiet for a while http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

By the way, Herr Gould, you may console yourself with the thought that Rommell's wife's birthday was June 6th. And, yes, in 1944 he left his post on the Atlantic Wall to be with her for that day! (Maybe Churchill & Eisenhower thought of that?) And it helped with implicating him in the July Plot...
Well, I hope you won't be forced to shoot yourself by anyone, but at least you are in good company. Besides, you're very lucky to have a romantic night out. Frau Bockholt is always going out (drinking) 'with the girls' but der Alte Kapitaenleutnant has to stay in and look after the cats! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
