first let me start off by saying i would only like a hint, not a spoiler! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
i have made my way through the large complex in Er'cana (2nd shell book).
looking at the computer screen with the options of turning things on, i have the following; all areas are blue (power is on), a train on one side of the front section, the windmill turned on and spinning, one turbine on (the one with water) and the corresponding yellow circle that it is connected to.
i am in the circular room with the bahro stone and a book linking to dni. there is a handle and a button with its light off. i have pushed the rock into the fallen walkway giving me easier access to the room associated with yellow circles.
my problem is this, i have found numerious 'shell' notes with numbers on them. i have managed to turn on all the power but the last room with the button will not work. the yellow circles room has only one object turned on, but i havent found a way to turn it on; pressing the button does nothing.
the bahro cave has images of these objects, but i cant find any links between the pictures and the settings.
could someone please give me a nudge or a hint into the right direction? have i missed something along my way, or have i been doing things the wrong way?
http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif any help would be muchly appreciated!

oh, how i wish there had been a response to this before you figured it out...
i am pretty much stuck here...
except that i've moved switches in that room with the yellow circles...managed to get all of them...on...waited...and waited some more...which makes me think i need to go somewhere at this time...i've turned all kinds of things on willy nilly (is there an instruction book somewhere?) and i have absolutely no idea what i'm doing...
i've read those books in Relto, but i don't recall any of them mentioning this...what is this...a water treatment plant?...anyway,
i've collected all the 'shell' numbers that i've found and tried to match them to the... place...that you're supposed to match them...(was that a spoiler?) but the answers i'm getting are only confusing me more...
i tried to find earlier posts to help so that i wouldn't have to add another, but only got spoilers i wasn't counting on...such as that annoying... thing... blocking the... place...
also, after getting all of the 'yellow circles' room things to work (still don't know how that happened) i went to the next room and...how do i say this without spoilers...'used' the... next things...in the... other place...(i really am more intelligent than that sounded)...the result was...pretty, but changed nothing...if you know what i mean...
before this gets any more confusing...(is that possible?)...it was easy to figure out how to power up everything, but the rest is a mystery...did i miss a book somewhere that explains things? and by the way, the shell cloths, are they journeys? are there the same number of them as before? i probably heard the answer to that before in Prime or To D'ni, but after installing CC i went straight to POTS. (funny...went to pots)
i really would like to figure things out on my own...i mean...no out right spoilers like "go here...do this", you know...but a "from what you've said, you should already have the answers, you tool" will suffice...
ok...i guess that's all.
i'll edit this post if i need to ask another question.
cheers!

Hello Nicodemus, there is no instruction book for Er'cana ( I think it fell in the lavapit)But have you been to the Bahro cave where the stone links to? Check the wall and apply the info, just as from Kadish gallery.
The clothes are journeys of a sort. I'm not sure if every age still has 7. I think at least in Er'cana you can finsish without having touched all of those journeys, but don't pin me down on that.
Good luck!

thank you HannaGertie!
i have been to the cave...actually, it was the first place i went after arriving...from a very odd link... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
wasn't expecting that to happen...
i have noticed the connection between the cave and what i'm supposed to do, but have only noted one difference in the depictions...which i haven't figured out how to change...will keep working on it...
just as long as i know that i haven't missed something somewhere, i'll be good...
thanks again!
now, that other age is a different story...
might have to add crab to the menu at the Pub... (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/Nicodemax/flooring2.png)

Nicodemus, you are on the right track. There, I haven't spoiled you. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Actually, you will need to mostly finish Ahnonay to finish your task in ErCana. Hopefully you can figure out why. But also, you can keep from spinning your wheels when they possibly shouldn't be spinning yet.

spinning my wheels?
if that is a hint and it means what i think it means...yeesh!
or should i say Yeesha! as in 'Yeesha, help me!'
but i think i have the 'light' thing ready...and i know where i need to go, but not how to get there...which leads me to...
Ahnonay...'nay', i say!
it should be Ahnonightmare...
i've found several places i need to be...at the time i need to be there...and thought i was moving along so well......smugness...that'll show me...
all it has afforded me so far is...hmm...shall i say...an appropriate mechanism for the venture?...placed ever so out of reach that it stands to mock me...
there are levers in a couple of places that do something...i know 'cause i can hear them doing it...but what exactly i don't know...i've ascended to see what i can see, and all is the same...except the wheel...which i've figured out...if you catch my drift...so to speak...
*sigh*
at the moment, i feel that what i'm looking for to end the Er'Cana torment lies beyond that door...you know, the door of ages...three ages...(i know 'cause it says so on the wall)...but maybe that door will not open...
and i'm just 'spinning my wheels'
full circle...
maybe i should head to the pub (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/Nicodemax/flooring2.png) for a Shorah Shooter...

Maybe you have to travel farther, beyond the three. But not through that door in 3?
jump around, use journeys, relto or book, pull levers and listen, then jump again through journey, relto or book (or in combinations) see where it takes you.

Nic, what you need, once you've played with the dials inside the someplace, is to relax, enjoy some excercise, such as to take a swim. Don't be swept away in 'current' events.
The spinning wheels wasn't a hint, but this was ... well, not exactly a hint. Maybe just a nudge. Not exactly a nudge, but a suggestion.

i've swam (swum?) so much my arms hurt...although they look much nicer with muscles...and i've jumped and linked around so much, i think i'm back at the beginning...of course i can't be sure at this point...
i'm confused as to how many times i've used the levers and in which place...at what time...
which shell...which age...what time...mommy? mommy is that you?

If you spin your wheels correctly, your arms won't hurt as much. (I guess my first statement was a bit of a nudge, afterall) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
I'd help you reset the other lever, but you might try only flipping it once. You might find a way to reset it yourself, if you have the foggiest or not too spaced out by the time you figure it out.
Don't despair, you'll go a long way if you keep a positive attitude.
By the way, you may have noticed this is one of the trickiest parts of PotS.
