I'm working on a new Mossi template and skin. Except for some detailing, I only have some weathering and chipping to do.

What color was the undercoating/wood protection/whatever between the wood and the outer paint?
Thanks,

I think tha underpaint was a light greenish shade (lichen green perhaps), but I'm not sure. The plywood was given a coat of shellac, making it dark brown.

As far as I know the wood was covered in canvas that was then doped red.

So that's the proper colour of red dope! Guntape on Hurricanes and Spits should be the same colour, right?
