Recently i installed Hauppauge WinTV-Go Tv tuner card, and then i noticed my myst 5 is playing very slow. I have ATI Radeon 9200 Graphics card. I was just wondering if the Tv tuner card somehow killing my game playing. I would really love to keep them both. Is there any way to adjust them?

Have you installed:
-- The latest driver (Catalyst 5.9) for your Radeon 9200, as detailed in Myst V: Installing Video Drivers With Win XP (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3471054943/m/9071035163)?
-- The latest WinTV driver and WinTV application version from Hauppage? Both are available here (http://www.hauppage.com/pages/support/support_pci_878.html).

I installed both of them and still same problem. Do u think i need to get more memory, i have 256 now?

Yes, more memory would be my recommendation.

With your system, you should install another 768 MB for a total of 1 GB. Another 256 MB for a total of 512 MB might also be OK, but with your TV tuner card going to 1 GB would be best.

Be certain to install the correct memory for your motherboard - see your PC user's manual or PC manufacturer's website for exactly what to buy. Also, if you add memory instead of replacing what you've already got, be certain to match the new memory specification-wise to the existing memory as closely as you can.

Just having a TV tuner card installed shouldn't make any difference to the game, unless you're trying to use it to record something while playing.

I've got a TV tuner card (though not a Hauppage one), and it didn't seem to bother my system. Mind you, I do have 512MB RAM (as XP doesn't really like it when you have less).

It's good to have feedback... 1 GB RAM really does make a difference to URU / Myst V. I'd strongly recommend an upgrade to everybody that doesn't have it already.

[Going from 512Mb to 1 GB makes a significant difference in URU].
