"Versus" Video Pt. 2 Poll - PAX

It’s time to open up the polls for our second “versus” video. Just like before you’ll get to vote on which TMNT: Smash-Up character you want to see featured, only this time we’ll also be showing off the Ninja Powers in TMNT: Smash-Up.

Just like last time we’ll pick the two characters with the most votes to feature in the video which will premiere during PAX at http://events.ubi.com.

Once again, I have to vote for Casey. Frankly, any of the new-ish characters would be great, though. Casey vs. Night'watcher would be a great match-up, I think. What do y'all say?

PAX is on September 4-6. We'll probably get one last character vignette trailer between now and then. If any characters are left to reveal after the expo, we'll probably have to wait until the game is released.

Although I would like to see more of Donatello, I voted for Casey, because I'm really interested how he plays and what kind of moves/attacks he's got.

Voted for Casey. I've seen enough Turtles footage I almost know how they play perfectly well, but I haven't seen almost any footage on CASEY JONES. Even Utrominator has had more screentime!

wow, glad Nighwatcher is getting some popularity. I personally ant to see Utrominator, but Nighwatcher is a very good choice. Also does anyone else notice that the site actually blocks out t-w-a-t in Nigh****cher? But then all I have to do is edit the post and retype t-w-a-t and there are no asterisks! I thought it was people making fun of him, guess I was wrong....

I gotta admit after seeing the Shredder vs utrominator video, I dont dislike the utrominator as much because its clear he's not a joke character, at least not entirely.

A less generic selection (Mortu) would have been nice, but I can live with it.

Nonetheless, he won't be getting my vote, if it gets close and doesn't drastically change, it'll go to Nigh****cher, as much as I'd like to see Casey vs Don.

Casey vs Nigh****cher has an interesting idea to it, the two vigilantes doing some practice, Manhattan stage if you wouldn't mind, unless you've got something new to show us. It could have feasibly happened and it wasn't actually done before. I do like some storyline influence in fights, what can I say?

Utrominator (for me anyways) is more interesting than Mikey and Casey Jones is just more popular I guess.

I think because we've seen a lot of the turtles, Shredder, Splinter and April, people wnat to see the newer characters. Furthermore I think the turtles will be all excessively overplayed.

A couple of you all are looking forward to a third match up video, but at this stage in the game, it is most likely there will be no more versus videos. All the videos done so far were connected to gaming events (Comic Con and PAX). The game is due to release this month in the USA, so this may be the end of character videos. They probably might do another trailer closer to release for the UK and other regions, but that is an iffy situation it would seem.

How soon before they create the Penny Arcade event URL line for the videos? So far it only shows Comic Con and E3.

It's rather disappointing that NOTHING was announced at PAX for Smash-Up. We will be getting the Casey vs. Utrominator video later on in the months, but for the Turtle Van to show up at PAX with nothing to show for it besides memorabilia and a DS game, Ubisoft better not disappoint me with Smash-Up.

Cool down guys. The workweek ends on Friday, and Labor day is a holiday. People at Ubisoft are probably paid to work on these videos, and unless they were working at PAX it's unlikely they've started yet.

If PAX wasn't a weekend deal, the video would've come out sooner.

Y'know, I don't mean to tell the staff how to do their jobs but we're going on the second week without the video to this poll. You guys must REALLY be having technical issues if it's taking so long to get the video up but I'd like to suggest that you should at least do something to increase hype and hold us over until you get it fixed like reveal 3 more characters or something. Again, simple suggestion. You don't have to do it, but it might help.

I bring this up because there are some people on forums like IGN's who aren't happy to say the least. I can understand being secretive on the game but we're two weeks away from the release date and it doesn't look like many people are going to think highly of Smash Up. (I've seen plenty of "immature people" if you will, ready to boycott the game simply because there's no Original 80s Cartoon characters revealed to be playable. And that's just sad....)

Yeah. LordTerminal is right. The video must be delayed because of technical difficulty. However, I have been reading over posts at IGN, and I know what LordTerminal is speaking of. Many immature people are whining. But, we are just asking for a little glimpse of the game this week. A small amount of news would do wonders for us.

Also, link, we have already voted on the video. It just isn't out yet.
