Looks good. Also I didn't know they were making The Hobbit but apparently it starts shooting next year!

I've heard that there were several detailed P-51 mockups made for ground shots in the Redtails movie, too. It would be interesting to see what might come of them when filming is done as well.

I'm at the moment in talks with Peter Jackson about a serious historical error, in that 617 Squadron had 2 Westland Whirlwind PR Aircraft in close support of the Lancasters on the night of the raid... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
The director has ordered two full scale flying replica's to be built, the film will be put on hold until they're completed ready for filming... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Looks like they are loaded for bear and are in earnest. Can't get much more serious than 10 full-scale Lancaster replicas.

Stephen Fry is writing the script? What an odd choice! I actually am a fan, but that sort of comes out of left feild, doesn't it? Where the heck is Paul Brickhill when you need him?

That is an amazing model. I would like to see the interior shots, assuming the interior is done as well as the outside.
