Ubisoft has teamed up with BXB and Skirmish Paintball to bring fans of the GR series a day out to remember!
Monday 27th February will see 50 gamers including members of the gaming press gather for a day’s Paintball and the chance to play Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter ahead of its release on 10th March 2006.
Sounds pretty cool doesn’t it.
The day is an invite only event so if you are free on *Monday 27th February and fancy the chance to Paintball with the Ubisoft team, the UK Frag Dolls, the BXB Team and many more not forgetting yours truly XboxGameZone (now that alone has to be a good reason to come along) then there are two ways to go about the chance to win an invite.

Would have loved to have done Airsoft but it's on the verge of getting banned in the UK right now, so it's probably not a great idea to set an event around it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Now if only we'd get something out here in Texas. Game companies seem to forget that not everyone lives on the East and West coast.
..at least you UK gamers are getting something though, since you are usually the ones getting screwed in the release date dept.

I think its a 2 sided coin to be honest mate, we might not get as many or as big as the US type events that take place but......when we get them within reason anyone has a chance to get there because the countries only so big lol. yesterday for example took me a 2 hour drive, i live on the west of england and the event was in the east, even if it was the farthest east point it wouldnt have taken much more than 3 hours to get to and thats allowing for travelling through the major london traffic, not quite the same for you guys it would take days lol

heh.. yeah.. it would take me a 5 hour drive alone to get out of Texas, and that's going east. If I headed west it would take a good 8 hours or so. Needless to say, if you can't afford a plane ticket, you just don't go.

The one that looks a lot like a sumo wrestler http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
I took plenty of padding in anticipation of pain after what a lot of people said, needless to say once i got it all on i wasnt looking too sexy http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
(not that im that delicate and petit to begin with but im not sumo http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif)

You forget about the pain within seconds of actually being shot in paintball. Unless it's in the junk, the neck or fingers. That you won't forget for a while!
the best solution to this is not to get hit http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
