Well, you're supposed to scan them with your (inaduqeuate) "binoculars" (Really it's called EEV)...

Well, the fact that walking up to the first box allowed me to hit "scan" on the action menu made me think the the EEV was actually like a scanner at a store, so I kept doing that.

You guys are not talking about the "Scan crate" function, I suppose http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif I'm not really getting the point.

I don't know exactly which PC button activates the binoculars/EEV, but when the EEV's activated, it can perform the "Scan Crate" function from a distance. Just put the square onto the crate and it will scan it.

Isn't it easier to simply run up to the crate and press space, instead of grabbing your binoculars, find a good position and aim? Or can you also use your heat vision with the EEV? That would be usefull for the crate in the tent http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
