Multiple settlers on 1 ip does not work

Me and my Brother just both bought the settlers 7 path to a kingdom. Now it turns out that we can not play togehter. It is not possible to play together on the same ip adres. We have called witht he support of Ubisoft and they said that we should take it to the forum. We expect ubisoft to fix this assap!

When my brother is playing single player and I start the game his game will quit.

Please give an official response on this!

PS we both own a legal copy trough steam of the settlers 7.

Same problem here!

This is getting way out of hand...
Half of the time the server is down and now we can't even play at the same time?
Not even single player will work because of this "not working" DRM method!

Also here, both steam versions...

The best thing we could do was posting it on the forums...

Take a look at m y post in this thread about the same issue. I may have discovered a workaround that one of the two people in the household would need to do.

I am not going to mess around with proxy's and such. I play a lot of games online with my brother and no problems with any game.

And about the respond on that post of yours, now we have complete different accounts...

Here I was thinking that we've solved it, now we have the same problem again... repatching the game doesnt work anymore and me and my girl cant play the game at the same time...

Its kinda frustrating..
