rabul mission?? IMPOSSIBLE!!!

ok, ive tried everything thats said on how to do this, ive tried no less than 50 times! i try to strafe the take off planes, but my timing is always wrong, so if i hit any its 1 or 2, i get the aa guns, but i still fail, ive tried over and over and over, it sucks! ive never had this much trouble with a game!

UBI please help me, give me a level skip code or something!

yeah dude that map is hard it took me like 20 tries, i suggest going threw like the ace duels and some acrade mode to practice your dogfighting skills. Thats what i did and i tried the Rabaul map again and beat it first try

just hit the aa guns and the planes actually taking off. Destroying the parked ones and the hangars and tower is pointless

Here's what I did to finish the level:

At the start of the mission before the cutscene, send your wingmen to attack. When the cutscenes are over, they'll already be over the base attacking. Also, you can continually use up Frank's attack (the lighting bolt on the D-pad) throughout the mission.

On your first approach, concentrate on taking out the AA guns (on the right or left) from a distance with your rockets and clean up with your guns.

STRAFING THE PARKED PLANES THAT AREN'T YET ON THE RUNWAY DOES NO GOOD! IGNORE THEM!

Fly away and brake turn once your rockets have reloaded back to the airstrip to take out the rest of the AA placements.

Repeat this until the AA placements are gone then go to work on the mobile AA trucks.

Listen and watch for your wingmen saying things like "here they come again" or "they're taking off again" and divert from the AA attacks and fire a rocket barrage at the planes taking off. If you can get one or two in each wave as they're taking off, you're wingmen set to "Attack" can clean up enough of the rest to keep the bombers alive.

HERE'S THE KEY~ You're gonna have to get good at calling Joe for repair instructions while making your AA/runway runs around the airport. Don't get into dogfights unless you just rocketed one or two taking off and you're right behind a couple that just took off. By all means, drop 'em with your guns.

Once again, STRAFING THE PARKED PLANES DOES NO GOOD!

Once your bombers carpet the airfield, a couple of hangers, the control tower, and a couple of water towers will still need to be destroyed with your rockets. Attack these once the bombers are clear and the bomber health gauge has gone away.

Forget get watching your six. Clear AA and rocket a plane or two taking off and gun down another one as it's getting airborne. These two tips will get you through.
