Now before I settle into this post, you know me I dont get wound up that often honest

Well this really does make my skin crawl.
Ubisoft this is for you and your PR team.

I see the game that I have waited for so patiently for a few years is now up for sale, on your web site and it is offering a special deal if I am in the first 500 buyers.
It also gurantees me delivery on date of release, even better.

Great Im up for that lets go, where do I sign.

Waite a minute I better check the system specs, just to make sure my old banger can handel this futuristic shooter, ok no information on the sales site lets check out the main site, no information either, well now Im not sure do I order the game and hope for the best, will it work ? will it even load.
What a dilema.

Now I know my sys will handle this game, but what about the people who dont, sure you can say ask some one at UBI, guess what you will not get an answer.

You need the specification for the eqipment before you put the software on. Hello

Ok now the next bit, I also own a couple servers one here and one in the USA, I obviuosly want these servers up and running on the day of release.

So will the game run on the servers, are they up to date enough, ?? are there any server tools for the game,???? will I have to buy a copy of the game for each server, ???

By now you should see why my skin is starting to flake.

I wonder how many people have not bought this game because of the lack of Technicle information, I would suggest a hell of a lot.

The lack of information will decrease sales.

This is not a rant, just pure annoyance at a product with no information on technicle specification.

Colin, you know we're americentric over this side of the pond. You have to explain to us that your "here" is not our "here". You hear? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

No doubt since all XBOX360 units contain nearly identical system hardware UBI has decided there is no point in issuing system hardware requirements. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Sorry couldnt help myself. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

also, why would you preorder a game that you know nothing about? at the moment, you'd be buying a game that for all you know could be a slide show of very different looking screenshots.

Gamestop gets games the first day of release. They'll take 5 bux to hold your copy. If you change your mind they'll give your 5 bux back, no questions asked.

There's no good reason to pay full price to preorder a game.

Thats pretty expensive for the uk, it's 3x as much then what they are selling it at www.sendit.com (http://www.sendit.com) which is only â£18 uk. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif And if americans want it, it's only 34 dollars from there too as they do international shipping. I'm not sure about express delivery but I can't see it being a wooping 25 quid!! Royalmail's max is 5 pounds for next day delivery.

Speaking of PR perhaps UBI should inform retail outlets that providing release dates for the game prior to being able to obtain hardware to play it on may not be a good idea.

If what you say is true, and Im not really sure it is, it does mean one very important thing.

You can post and ask for information and get a very decent responce from the staff.

Which I am really pleased with.
