Hi I recently got my highest score in FFA(Wanted) yet (8950) today. Is it possible that scores of this range is always possible in every wanted match? I always try to have big games even if there are some pretty good players in the room but I usually only get about 4.5-5.5kish in a normal wanted match. I want to find out if there's a way to continuously score big Wanted games. Do I have to always change profile sets? Or just stick with RR disguise SA poison?

There's no way to guarantee good scores in any game mode, but there are ways you can try to keep your scores as high as possible. Playstyle and switching profile sets as needed depending what other people are using do help alot.

Some of the best players seem to be able to score high regardless of the lobby, but mere mortals like us will have our scores affected by what is going on around us.

You can definitely improve your skills to make yourself more consistent, so that high scores become more frequent. You will never be able to guarantee it though as rain and crumple have said, because if a game descends into a roof/runfest (hello florence) then scoring will be limited and scores lower.

I find the best way to get more consistent is to find a profile set that you can concentrate on for a long period of time and learn it inside out. Learn its strengths and weaknesses and any little tricks you can do with it like how to deal with two pursuers and picking your target out of groups. You will get there eventually.

I don't play to score as high as I can...I play to finish in 1st place http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I used to play only to win but now I want to concentrate on playing to improve, which may not necessarily mean getting 1st place in every match. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I agree that roof runners are a big threat to the big game goal. In those matches I only manage to land about 2-3 poisons the whole match so I end up wasting the potential of my RR disguise/SA poison build. So is it only possible to score big games consistently if you're playing with noobs(who don't roof run as much)?

Serious advice... Don't stick with Poison the whole match.

Use it for one or two big kills, and to stack towards Variety, then switch it for Knives, or Smoke, or some form of defensive ability while you're in the lead (because you usually will be with a couple of good Poison kills early in the match). Also be prepared to switch for a more roof-friendly set if you're having trouble getting those Poisons to land. Recommend Knives here as well, and pairing them with Disguise can get you a Hidden/Focus from above, which is nice.

Consistency of good averages requires variance.
Top scores requires pure aggression and luck.

Hmm ok clanmate I will take your advice http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. The thought of changing builds always comes to my mind but when I remember my 8k games using the posion build, the thought of changing styles just seems useless. But I guess that build really hinges on luck. I'll try new styles from now on but I think I'll still keep the RR disguise for both offensive and defensive purposes. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I have not figured out the path to scoring 8k+ on a regular basis. I can reach 6k 85% of the time(Wanted), but the 8+ games seem to only fall for me a few times per week, and it is usually because targets just ran into me more than usual.

Hi :-)
Its usually not possible to do it that consistently. My highest score in Deathmatch is 12000 and I have been trying to beat it for a while, but I consistently get around 8-10K points per session but haven't been able to beat the 12K points mark. I've made it to 12K a few times after that but not crossed over.no sweat..it happens

Everyones opinions here are great but there is another variant that affects outcome and score in a game and thats lag or connection problems. You can be the most skilled player in the world with the best profile sets for evey situation but if the game doesnt run right, then no matter what you do, Youre not going to score well. You can take that to the bank!

Can i say, to score big you need to be aggressive. No camping bull crap, get in there and kill and stun, oh and in assassinate don't play the lock game, either go for the kill or leave it as you are wasting valuable time. In wanted, you need to start out with poison then go on to defensive abilities whilst hunting your target. If you are waiting fro your target contract actively hunt out your pursuers...

While it's not Wanted my average in AC:R Escort is 10k. :P

Anyone else notice the date on this thread? Hooray for replying to year old threads! Haha.

Anyway, if this question was posed to me today for ACR, I'd say 4.5-5.5k is pretty good average for Wanted seeing as it's pretty hard to get a lobby where everyone isn't on the roof.

Two modes I never play in ACR: 1. Assassinate (simply because I'm just terrible at it) 2. Wanted.
It's just not worth it to try and find a decent lobby of Wanted. I stick to Deathmatch when I want a more ACB Wanted-like experience (or just go back to ACB Wanted haha)
