Can anyone tell me how to do the rabul raid mission? It says crator the runway but my rockets dont do any damage? I've tried attacking all targets on the airfield and i've tried just concentrating on the planes that get up... I just cant get it. dont know what i'm doing wrong.....

Here's worked for me.
1. Set your wingmen to attack before you get to Rabaul, then after the cut scene they will be over the airstrip.
2. As soon as the cutscene ends, tell Frank to attack, and start firing missles from far away, hit the two aa nests up front, and the planes on the runway.
3. Strafe the runway with guns and missles, hitting the aa nests, and planes that spawn until the bombers say they are 1 min out. If you come under fire during this point use Tom to buy you some time, and Joe to repair. (I found that after every strafe if I told Joe to repair my plane, then I lasted longer.)
4. Fly out to the bombers and hit the fighters that are around them, When ever you find yourself looking back at the runway, line up on a target there, and empty your rockets. Keep using Tom, Frank, and Joe to keep yourself airbourne.
5. If you do this right, (and are really lucky.) Then you should pass this check point.
Most of all be patient, I played this mission for about 8 hours straight before I beat it.
Note: be ready to spend a bit of time after this mission respawning after checkpoint, since the second part is a bit tough too.
2nd Note: I practiced in Arcade mode, Ace fight, and multiplayer with my fiancee flying the corsair to get the feel for the plane. I think that helped me out alot.

Well, that's what I have been doing. I guess I am losing bombers due to the fact I am not taking out enough enemies shooting my bombers. I will keep trying, thanks for your tip

Also destroy anything on the ground at the airfiled, tower, trucks anything with a red marker.
