Is it possible to adjust the game speed?

When in battle I like to have some controll of my troops. In this game battles are finished so fast that it is almost impossible to use any tactic or strategi. Is there any way to regulate the speed of the game?

As far as im aware there is no way to control that aspect of the game.
To stop your troops heading off and destroying everything in site you can use the menu at the bottom when they are selected. With this you can set them to hold position, guard a building ect but as for the speed of the attacks you can't change that.
