View Full Version : Something I noticed

After playing SC for years, I never noticed how it would be impossible for anybody to flick their goggles up without using their hands. The goggles I am guessing have a rubbery tecture so they should stick to him because of the friction, the goggles are also pretty heavy. Nobody could fling up goggles no handed and have them STAY THERE... This is just my theory, if you prove me wrong, I will accept it, just don't rub it in...

You spotted that after years of playing?
Wow, profound.
I gotta replay the games just for that discovery. It changes my whole view on the game.

I'm getting kinda sick of these "the game isn't 110% realistic" threads. LOL.

There's no game today that is that realistic. Because developers know that too much realism takes the fun out of a game. How realistic is it to take bullets, dive for cover and if you wait, be back at full health? How realistic is it to have more than 1 life? It's NOT! And for good reasons, those things have been dealt with.

I don't know what the fascination with making the game so realistic it'd become boring. I mean, really, isn't that just nitpicking?

Sam uses his telekinetic powers. Are you happy with that?

Yup, unrealistic. But they had to do it SOMEHOW while his hands aren't "available" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I agree that it's unrealistic but there are things a lot worse than that. Like CUTTING THROUGH A FENCE WITH A KNIFE!!!
If you want my opinion, instead of flipping the entire body of the goggles they could have designed something like a tray. Something like a rail that the goggles would slide on.
Or just make it imposible to change view while his hands are occupied...

Thats something i would say people are becoming very nitpicky about the sc series in realism and i have said millions of times that the game wont be fun if its TOO real.
