It feels like Ubisoft isn't going to do anything about the lack of inverted y on the Splinter Cell Trilogy. I think we should focus our efforts on Sony. How hard would it be for them to update their firmware to incorporate controller options in the settings menu? They partly to blame ripping off the gamers who bought the games on PSN. I'm calling and won't stop until I get an answer.

Why don't you just adapt? Seriously. Invert aim is the equivalent to left handed players, Everyone is righthanded, and everyone plays nonverted. Convert or die. Currently your dying.
And yes, i'm joking XD, i hope they fix this problem so everyone can enjoy this game to it's full extent; it's a great game.

I called the Ubisoft technical support line and they said we should voice our opinions on this matter here. I also find it almost too difficult to adjust to a game without the y-axis inversion, so here I am complaining and hoping that the Ubisoft team will acknowledge this issue and resolve it.
As I stated in another thread here, it doesn't seem too hard for them to write the code for a controller configuration that includes an inverted y-axis. It's such a standard gameplay option nowadays that it almost feels criminal not to include it in these classic games. If enough of us voice our concerns, then Ubisoft will eventually feel obligated to address the issue and finally make this simple fix.

Did you see the other thread in which I mentioned I called and talked to tech support? I even got them to call me back.
As for them telling you to voice your opinions here. Call them back and tell them again.

So what exactly did they say? Because the guy I talked to kept insisting that this forum was the best way to make our voices heard. Maybe he was just being a ******bag and didn't wanna deal with a disgruntled customer. At any rate, I suppose talking to someone else there might help??

Hello. I am very disapointed that splinter cell trilogy for ps3 does not have inverted axis settings. What is this? I spent my hard earned money thinking at least i will have a nice game to play and i go home to find out that i cant play it because there is no inverted. I want a patch or my money back. What is this crap? Do you guys at ubisoft even play your games?I am sure other developers are laughing at this since its all over the internet. I have seen at least 100 posts of people that are no buying it because of this. In these hard times it is not good to lose customers. I promise that if you do not fix this i will not buy an other product from you. Oh and 6-8 weeks to get a patch out? I laid my money out yesterday not in 8 week and no warning on the box. Shame on you.

I don't know if you guys realize, but non inverted y axis is more of an adaptation then you think. The reality is to look down at your feet or pick something up you have to move your head forward and to look up or reach for something above, you have to move your head backward. This is the same for cameras on tripods. Tilt the camera forward/backward the camera looks down/up respectively.
In short, it's already hardwired into your brain for inverted y axis.

I just bought Pandora Tomorrow HD and literally started playing it an hour ago. I'm not exactly suffering from any disabilities so far as using my hands are concerned but seriously?! I have been playing games on PC and Consoles for decades and this is just weird and I cannot get used to it at all, I haven't even got into the embassy yet and I am stressed out at not being able to play it! Obviously this is a user preference issue but even the cheapest nastiest of games I have played have had the option to invert!!
For me, this is either a money back issue or a patch asap and asap seems to have long since been and gone for many people. This is a poor oversight by Ubisoft; a mistake that needs to be rectified. What are you guys thinking not having it patched already?!
Enough excuses, get it sorted please.

It seems like ubisoft does not give a **** about the problem. I want my money back. The game is useless to me without the inverted. I am staying away from your games in the future and i will blog this issue till i go gray. I bought the trilogy hd in ****ing september and it is almost november. Thanks, great customer service

If they ever patch this game in the US for the retail release, I'll buy it.

Same here. Not buying until it's patched
