Was wondering who else uses XFire in RV6.

I am looking for people who want to use the XFire voice chat ideally people in UK or related time zones.

My XFire alias is: eddiedeath

You are better off downloading Ventrilo (http://www.ventrilo.com) or Teamspeak (http://www.teamspeak.com). Most clans use those programs.

You don't have pay for the client. An eight man Ventrilo server client is free. It's better if clans have servers that they post or to join a clan's Vent/TS.

Ventrilo voice quality's unsurpassed in terms of voice clarity, in my opinion. Friend of mine owns a server on TypeFrag.com. It's pretty much well worth it to pay for your own server. XFire is...well, I've tried it, and I hate the voice comms quality.

You guys sounds pretty decided. Maybe I will give ventrillo another look. The other XFire features are pretty sweet but yeah first time I tried the voice chat the other guy had some wierd sound looping problems...

Sure is wierd hearing your own gun firing on someone elses speakers...

I notice Team Fortress 2 has audio taunts and all sorts of gizmos on top of the steam community thing. Rainbow is sure falling short in this department. Someone should hack the xbox live so PC players can join.
