Has anyone been able to complete any of the Skirmish Missions in Solo Mode?
I've made it through "Clear The Valley," so far I have not made it through any of the other missions.
The biggest problem I have(other than always getting killed) is running out of ammo, and I can't get any ammo from any of my squad members. What's up with that?
Also, has anyone figured out how to get any of the cheats to work in the Skirmish missions?
Thanks!

I lanned through all the skirmish missions with a friend a couple of weeks ago German and American.
Firstly what a blast, fantastic fun I was genuinely supprised just how testing the missions were, we would take 10+ attempts on some.
I did notice you could'nt get ammo from team mates but remember the solo skirmish modes are adapted from the multiplayer so the same rules apply.

Well the best thing on American objectives is to swap your empty weapon for a german one, because there are no cheats for skirmish mode. You also have to plant your team, who have infinite ammo and sharpshoot each target that your team doesnt kill. preferably a headshot ( no suppressing- wastes ammo).
Try the German Tour on authentic ( veteran)with Wilhelm. My favorite objective is the warehouse, because wherever you move the enemy counters which is a major challenge.
The link up with the Panzer tanks wasnt that hard, but I lost a squad along the way. However holding the line was difficult and i did a few times before completing it. If you can make it through tour of duty modes, you can domintae online at UBI.com.

What skirmish level are you all playing?
I just completed the original missions
on "difficult", and thought I'd play solo
skirmish on the most difficult level -
Accuracy 10, Tactics 4, Suppressuion 10.
Talk about a challange!
You just barely stick your head out from
behind cover and two or three quick shots
from the enemy and you are kaput!
I started with [objective] mission 2
and finally made it to the first checkpoint.
Some interesting tactics involved in this
one - At one point I pulled my men into a position that would allow the Germans to
flank them, and while this was happening
I got on the flank of the flanking Germans
to take them out!
I play as Hartsock because I think the BAR
is essential for long range and more
accurate shooting - at close range a quick
double-tap will usually take out one man.

hahah, yeah, once you crank up the level settings to full...even a mp40 is a sniper rifle in the hands of german...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Try going online and skirmishing. Can be more rewarding with a teammate.

Iv managed so far to complete tour 1,2,3,4,5, on american side, they get harder as you go,tour 3 is respectable hardness, tour 4 is a good challenge, tour 5 is quiete solid & without your whits about you,and team work with your fellow partner it's gameover, now your 6 is the 1 to achieve, havn't yet achieved it,need to find a good partner for that 1,http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif as iv posted my own thread on finding a regular teammate on skirmish co-op for tour capaigns, and looking forward to completing them all in time. so atm on not playing much till i find a regular player who would like to team up with me.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif & trust me it's fun!
