Who else felt it? I live in West Tennessee, and it woke me up around 4:30 this morning. First one I have ever felt as far as I can recall.

I didn't realize there's an active fault there. Did you shake or roll? The rollers are kinda fun, unless you are prone to motion sickness.

I've lived in California most of my life. Earthquakes are so common here that I usually don't feel them unless that are particularly strong, or it's a really close faultline that's acting up. I was fortunate to be about 70 miles away from the October '89 quake in the SF Bay Area, but I still felt very strong rolling and shaking effects.

It felt like it does when there is a very unbalanced load in the washer. Things on the dresser were shaking, and that's probably what woke me up.

I'm in central Illinois and I didn't feel a thing. It did wake quite a few people up around here, including my wife. Most I talked to described it as a mild shaking. Apparently there was another one a little before 10 AM local time today. I was at work and didn't notice it, but several co-workers who were outside the building on breaks said they felt a little shaking again.

I work at an insurance company (no, not the other one based in central Illinois that you're probably thinking of) and the joke of the day was that there would be an underwriting change effective tomorrow disallowing earthquake coverage.
