I have a question about achievements.

How often do you guys unlock achievements?

As you can see by my card below, I have 945 achievement points.

I got my 360 the second week of January so I think to have earned almost 1000 points in a month is pretty good...

...then I had someone ask me, "How come your gamer points is so low?"

Depends on it. My achievement unlocking is usually at its highest 2-3 weeks after purchasing a new game. After that it rarely happens.

Its according to how often you buy new games(including XBL arcade). if i buy a new game i will unlock a lot of achievements in that week or so. After about 2-3 weeks there is nothing i can. So i dont actually get achievements a lot.

Though when i bought R6:Vegas and GOW on the same day my achievements skyrocketed lol. I got like at least 5 achievements each day...especially from GOW...too easy.

you should be able to check and see if there is anything else that u can do to get achievement points. i think its in the main menu on the 360. then select your gamercard, select the thing that says something like achievements. then select a game and it will show u the ones u hav done and the ones u havn't done. it will also show u the amount of points something will give u if u do it. for example. teachers pet achievement(which reqiures u to finish all of the training on DA) is worth 40 pts.

Wanna boost your points up? There's 6 or 7 games (to start with) that you can rent that will get you 6000 easily:

Madden NFL 06
NBA 2K6
NBA Live 06
King Kong
College Hoops 2K6
NHL 2K6
Amped 3

it realyy depends on the game and its achievements, like in R6:v I got all the level achievements and the five kills without dieing in a day and all the levels from LP so that how you can tell which one I get the fastest http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I usually try unlock every achievement possible in a game (which as you can tell, I don't have many) except the games I really dislike (like Perfect Dark Zero). So this means that I unlock achievements every once and a while.
