does anyone have an idea why my v 4.09b1m has a problem with media player frquently popping up in the middle of the game.

My only response can be to run Windows Manager and select back to il-2 1946 but that doesn't stop WMP reappearing at random.

I notice that the problem may be occurring around 3d view in FMB. Is this an overclcking CPU? or not enough memory?

Never heard that one before..
I had Intervideo's DVD player pop up once with IL-2 Original. That was caused by their idiotic quick launch utility in the taskbar. Once I removed that it worked fine again.
Check for any quick-launch utility in your taskbar. Exit it if it's there.

Not overclocking, not RAM.


Probably just WMP.

Maybe malware? scan for virus/rootkit/trojan/adware.
