I know why the pilots of western fighters don't fear the airshow: they just know that when they are going to eject they'll die from injuries, so they remain in their crippled planes

The Russians do better moves at airshows, of course there is more accidents.

When is the last time you have seen a F-15 do anything with more than 20 degree AOA at an airshow...

...and next the F-15 will go in a straight line. Now we see it going straight up. Now its doing a turn. Now its going in a straight line again, but faster this time. Zzzz...

And don't forget that crashes are very interesting to watch too.

Doe anyone have a link to that video of the Su-35 doing all those cool manuevers? That was the best airshow routine ever.

The deck crewman getting sucked into the A6 is very true and happens on the flight deck when you dont pay attention to what your doing. Ironically the guy sucked into the engine was a instructor who got complacent. His cranial came off which is what FODed the engine and saved his life. He crawled out a minute and a half later and until he crawled out nobody knew he was alive.

Not to fuel the American vs Russian debate, oh why not lol, but more American aircraft seem to go down at airshows due to some kind of failure where as Russians just seem to have a depth perception problem. lol
Just kidding, relax.
Anytime you fly these planes as much and as hard as these guys do you will have crashes and anyone who says its cool to see them crash is a moron and I challenge anyone who thinks this way to say that to the families of these crews.

P.S. The Russians can set up as many Airshows as they want, but since we put ours up first, that's where everyone is going to be. Hey, no one said showbusiness was easy.

Its amazing how ejections can actually compress the spine 3-4 inches, yet the pilots can walk away without a problem.
