Any of you who are planning on making a movie, or any of you who are in the process...I have a great idea for a soundtrack to your film. Check out the soundtrack to the movie Pirates of the Caribbean...it is really intense, and it has a lot of powerful moments in it. I promise it will make a good soundtrack for your movie.

I used Klaus Badelt's music for my end sequence in 'Retribution' taken from Pirates of the Caribbean...

Indeed very good music for a movie /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

The soundtrack was quite a surprise when I first listened to it.
Besides I don`t favor synths very much, I really
liked the heroic flavor.
It`s one of the few sountracks that stays in your mind for days and days.
By the way, does anyone like the Road to Perdition
score?I love it. It`s ideal for a dramatic war-movie.

I remember hearing some of that music in UCLANUPE's Lock On movie "Maximum Response". Great movie btw. That music is really good for movies.

LOL, my movies are so goofy that the only music that seems to fit is polka!

Something I recommend for a soundtrack is anything by the group Era. Tracks like "Avemeno", "Voxi Fera",and "Enae Volare Mezzo" are sort of an almalgamation of techno with old European choral. Very moving, very intense, and very fun for flying! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Another track I recommend is Samuel Barber's Adagio for strings (choral and instrumental are both excellent, it's also sometimes called Angus Dei, Agnus Dei, or Angus Dey. Oh latin http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Check out the Master & Commander soundtrack for some good songs for the soundtrack. Particularly the music played by Aubrey and Maturin in the Captain's Quarters.

I also recommend Roads to Moscow, but that's somewhat overused.
