a freeze of sorts in navigation map

I am gettign a sort of freeze when i am in the navgation map and turn on time compression. I say a sort of freeze cuz game play contuinues but the key board and mouse stop responding, so I cannot get out of the nav map mode. I have installed the 1.4 patch. thanks for your help.

Hello redtail,
I can't help you to much with your freezing because I am not into the hardware part that much but you could tell us what kind of computer you have.
What Graphic card do you have - Make sure you have the latest drivers installed.
How much RAM (memory do you have)
Computer speed

With this information others will be able to help you better.
