yep...
i just recently purchase this game, the "gold edition" from a local eb games. just tried to fire up a good ol' game of coop with a friend, and it asks me for my cd key. after a thorough investigation, i come up empty handed.
my friend just purched the gold edition as well, but from another eb games. I noticed his raven shield cd jewelcase had a cover to it, just like the athena sword case does. my athena sword does, along with a cd key, but my raven shield does not. this means i have no cd key right?
well...i searched my registry and the CD KEY key is listed in there under HKEY_LocalMachine/Software/Red Storm Entertainment/Ravenshield/CDKey...
apparently with the new patches it encrpts that key, but im wondering how it got there?? I tried putting in my athena sword cd key in, as well as the key from the registry, but no luck.
Sorry for the long post but WTF!!!! What can I do to fix this?(and I have a feeling it involves me taking my copy back to the store and getting a new one...)
