What might I be doing wrong? I installed the Morgan "Mjpeg" codec and enabled it. It shows up in my Device Manager->Sound, Video and Game Controllers->Video Codecs as "Morgan Multimedia MJPEG 32 Bits codec." However, when I try to make an avi in LOMAC and look at the codec choices, I see lots of codecs except Morgan.

I just did a reinstall of LOMAC in hopes that it would refresh its inventory of video codecs. No luck, it still doesn't see the MJpeg. It doesn't see the Huffy codec either. It sees a bunch of others like the Divx, Indeo, Intel, etc . . . but not the ones that I really want. How frustrating.

I happen to have LOMAC installed on my PC at work and I just put the Morgan codec on there. It shows up in LOMAC.
The only thing I can think of is the fact that at home my OS and all my programs are installed on my F drive, not my C drive. At work it's all on my C drive. What I don't understand is that at home, LOMAC sees all the other codecs. All the codecs that LOMAC sees are in the same directory as the codecs that it doesn't see.

Have you tried dropping the codecs into the LOMAC file itself? Don't ask me where cuz thats beyond me.

Ruggbutt,
I reinstalled Windows . . . this time to the C drive instead of F. It's a long story, but the lesson is that it's best to have Windows on a drive with the letter C. Now LOMAC sees the Morgan codec.
Now to figure out how to set the codec up.
