I was thinking that what this game will probably need to keep it fresh online is NOT more maps but new modes and I had a thought for a different take on things. Flip the formula and have the spies defend and the mercs assault. Stealth works for defense as well as infiltration and the equipment sounds pretty balanced. The level could be the 3rd echelon academy and it gets stormed by armed personnel for whatever cool reason could be thought up and either the spies have to hold an objective, or escape or just survive in a kind of "hide and seek" type game. Any thoughts?

There would be a lot of coding involved, and you would most likley need mod tools to do all this work. Your kind of getting ahead of yourself...

How about a mode where you can be a dog, and have enhanced everything. Only thing is, spy can shoot you, where as you need to attack him on the ground, and from close range. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think they should have included a mode where they set a bomb like a mine, and you spies have to find it with your thermal goggles (allowing them to find you with their goggles) and defuse it. 2 Mercs= 2 bombs.

It would eliminate the memorization of the nodes, because you never know where the bomb will be placed.

That may turn into a camp fest, but not a bad idea...It may work, keep this ideas comin boys. I'm interested and my work on some of them. From my old mod in RvS I still have gametype ideas.

2. Elimination:
Spys and Mercs must seek each other out and use whatever tactics to wipe out the other team, which ever team has any last players standing, wins.

3. Infiltration:
Spys must retrieve the briefcase containing blue prints of the biological bomb the terrorists are planning to release, they must get to the extraction point of the map to win.

4. Hostage:
A player will be randomly chosen on Spys team and will be placed in a room at the merc spawn area, fellow team member will have to enter the building and rescue the trapped teammate by tagging him, or the hostage may escape on his own but would be very risky, considering he has no weapons. If merc executes hostage, they will be punished next round.

5. Escape:
Spys are spawned in a part of the certain map where merc's would be spawned; Spys have to get to the point where they usually spawn on the certain map. There is a twist; a player on Spys will be randomly selected to be assassinated, but fellow team members do not have knowledge who has been selected to be hit.
