So I decide to do Mt. Stronghold, not my fave since it's so rainy and all, but I do recon and after spawn, I go right to a tower with a nade launcher. So I decide to see what damage I can do. I take out 40 of the 45 and then go after the remaining 5.

So then I thinks, hey, I should try MP and use a sniper as a spotter. So I do. Pretty cool. Down and to the right of the tower is like a one-way-in gravel pit with a ramp that goes up to the castle. Well, there are 2 groups of 4 that travers the ramp and into the gravel pit. So I park my sniper just so I can see the dirt ramp and then I start raining grenades down, not so close at first, but then on target. It's funny to see the tango squad duck at the incoming. The angle is such that they can stay out of the way by not going all the way up the ramp. One by one they venture up and BAM! Got him! Scratch another one!

My sniper always seems to get shot due cause I'm trying to land grenades on the guys coming after him. The physics of the grenades are interesting as well.

Uhh... Did you say you played it on recon? Do we need to remind you that the idea of a recon mission is to, well, recon the place? And not blow away everything you can see?? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Sounds like fun though... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I've just written a new game-type to play on my quick missions. Well, it's not really new, just hard. There's a new defend and I've nearly finished a new firefight. Basically the same as before, but this time with far more tangoes. The regular ones just don't give me enough of a challenge!

I did Mt. Stronghold Defend and had a similar situation. I got on the GL and stirred up the baddies. I had to defend the Northeast guard tower. I was able to take down 15 plus in the fort. The rest were dead before they cam within range of the rest of my squad.

Yeah, yeah, I know. The reason for recon is if one guy gets killed, game over. A mental way of staying on my toes. I get sloppy, impatient in firefight, which you know allows death to the team and still keep going. I get sloppy there. Gotta get them all out alive.
