As you can tell from my subject title ive got shadow problems. Has anyone else had this problem and does any one know a cure?

Do you have anti-aliasing enabled?
If you can tell us the specs of your PC including the drivers you use and what video settings you are using in Far Cry we may be able to give you a better answer =)
