I have to say... that damn.. i actualy had a dream about the MP demo just the following night I discovered that PT was even having MP.

I think the gaming community at large has been longing for a MP team adversial shooter type that for once, isnt about arcade running and gunning.

Most of those games dont even lend itself to award clever players or outsmarting actions.

I cannot wait for this damn MP demo.. I played mission 1 of SP demo, and pretty much resided to the fact that it will have the same non intuitive gameplay of the first game.

MP demo, MP demo.. yay!

yes they do know that. But if they were REALLY smart they would release it now so people could download it now, instead of having every server in the net clogged with simotanious downloading. They want to spread this demo like a virus so that so many people play it and get hooked on it that they buy the game. The demo isn't for people like us who are dying to get the game and would buy it if it came with Rabies... Its for the people who dought the game and the dem hopefully will convince them, its also can double as a Beta kinda like the SP demo.

well, if you want my 1 cent.. i think it would be smart to release it on Friday, so a large chunk of the community can get it, so they wone be part of the market that will be craming with crappy speeds to get it on Saturday with everyone else.

I seriously doubt UBI is going to release it this week. If anything, expect it to be released next week around the time before the XBox version hits the shelves. As far as I know, PC users will be waiting an extra week. I have a feeling that they'll be releasing it next week. Afterall, the single player demo just hit the servers.

I was reading something about a week delay.. It wasn't confirmed, but only a rumor. I'm hoping they'll be released the same day.

Spot on. The European version of the game for some inspirational and fantastical reason has a 1 week delay between the XBOX and PC version (xbox being 26/03 and pc being 02/04) ... oh well. With this in mind i suspect we will see the pc multi demo nearer the time of the xbox release ... probably mid next week. Total guesswork but it seems the likliest marketing strategy.
