When you Knock Out Guards, (like in MGS) they should wake up after a certain period of time.

In the other 2 Splinter Cells, the guards were permenantly unconsious...

I agree also there should be zip tie cuffs and gags as an option incase they wake up, so they can't alert the guards. I think they should be as an option because there is no point cuffing them if you near the end of the level because you would be out of there b4 they wake up.

Once the guard is knocked out it would only take about 15 to 20 seconds to cuff and gag him. I think that amount of time is worth it.

whenever i knock out someone in 1 player, i shoot them in the head once i hid them, id rather do that then tie em up

But if you do that in a Zero Kill Mission the mission is over. I just thought that it would be a cool addition, and I thought it would add realism.

Ye, but sam can't possibly be wearing handcuffs, to big, to much noise. Such ziplines (don't know the exact word; Those plastic strips, that only slide in one way...

i think that is a cool idea. Sam wont carry hand cuffs they will be zip ties. he can carry easily like 20-30 in a small bag. and some duck tape as well to cover there mouth. i think it should definately be inculded

you should be able to pick up the enemies guns sometimes SOMETIMES.... i know a good sc player could go through a whole game without running out of ammo but im not a good one and every once in a while i will get out and if you run out you can pick up your enemies weapons and use them (only till out of ammo with that then you sol)

Wouldn't a tranq dart take a minute to take effect and bring the guard down? Plenty of time to radio for help before he goes unconscious.

It would add some good new gameplay mechanics, if you don't shoot a guard in the right place he might notice and radio for help.

You guys are asking for way too much detail for in the game.

Anyway, I don''t think a guard should wake up, Sam probably knows how to properly knock out a person and BTW in SC1 and 2 they already can wake up knocked out guards.

Here is the answer in my opionion: Each level is short enough that a guard that has been knocked out,if properly hidden will only stay unconsious for about an hour. In theory most of Sams missions should not take that long to get in and out of an area.

Second: If you notice in the previous games. If you do not propery hide the bodies you will raise an alarm. This tells me that a nearby guard has found the body and has woken up the guard. Especially in Pandora Tommorow you have the three different threat levels, which would tell me that if a guard was awakended by a nearby patrolling guard that he had told his partner that something knocked him out and now they are on alert looking for you.

So with all of that said I belive that Sam's Missions are short enough to add that bit of realism to it in the form of a time window. He has a certain amount of time to get through a level. Of course you could just sit there and go make a sandwich , but for game purposes it would work that way . Also having flex cuffs and a gag would be unesessary equipment.

yeah but what about guards with helmets? like the elite guards in sc1 and guards in PT if you raise a second alarm..he can still knock them out for good despite their helmet.

kick is noisy ,but in mgs a kick is added with the punches so wat im saying is a kick should be optional for the game hey if mgs can make it silent. splinter cell should too

There is a certain point when the coolness factor, or coolicity, far outweighs the simpleness factor, or simplility. This is one of those times. Do you really need to have THAT MANY GADGETS? Unless you want it to have a Steel Battalion-like controller, it would only make that game that much harder. And I have utmost confidence in Ubi to make the game as difficult as permissible. To reward us urban ninjas.
